The Final Straight

Today I transported the plinths and display case from WD to the basement ready for painting* - thanks to Moley and his pickup and the cathedral groundsmen's pull truck. Pretending to be a husky in the cloisters is a first, I am sure.

All the posters are delivered and displayed, just some PV invitations to print and/or email.

I have the lovely prospect of five consecutive studio days to complete everything, then a few more days before setting up on the 4th.

I am beginning to get excited. And a bit scared!

*I have decided that white is too harsh a contrast with the cathedral stonework,so am going to repaint them either Schmincke 'Sand' or Farrow&Ball 'String'.

Another Productive Day.....

.....which makes two in a row! All the small arched windows (archlets?) are now complete, and I am filling in the space above ready to add the large arches. Today was an unexpected whole studio day; I was due to be a main witness in a trial, but it has been postponed. Somewhat irritating / annoying / upsetting. The incident was back in March, and I had really hoped to have it over with by now. Hey ho! I shall just shelve all thoughts of it until I get the new date. I have plenty of nicer things to occupy my mind with.

Fotos on Friday.....

Productivity Bonus Required!

About seven hours at the loom. Making up for lost time earlier in the week. I have resisted the lure of the chip shop and am making risotto for my supper. Can you not see my glowing halo? Does it not dazzle?
Work is also progressing on the two tapestry lengths at home, but maybe not tonight.
